ECONOMICS | Higher Level | Full Time

Economics is suited to students who have a genuine interest in how the economy works as a whole. It involves topics such as wealth, finance, the recession and the banking sector. Studying Economics gives students a greater understanding of the world in which they live in.

In September 2019, a new Economics course was introduced. The new course has a project component worth 20%, which is great news for students.

As there is no restriction on subject choices at Hewitt College, students that are interested in Business may choose up to three options from Accounting, Business and Economics or Agricultural Economics.

Complementary Subjects: Physics, Applied Maths, Higher Level Maths, Construction.
