With the introduction of 25 bonus CAO points for a score greater than 40% in higher maths, the number of students choosing to continue maths at higher level has increased significantly.
At Hewitt College, very few students drop back to ordinary level, success rates are high, and most importantly, our students have a firm grasp of mathematical concepts. This is vital to their education and future career prospects, as many of our students will pursue STEM college courses.
As there is no restriction on subject choices at Hewitt College, students that are interested in Science and STEM subjects may choose all or any of the following: Agricultural Science, Applied Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics.
