Chemistry is a very popular option here at Hewitt College, as it opens up a wide range of STEM courses and careers to our students. Chemistry examines mathematical calculations, knowledge of experiments and requires very precise definitions.
Our 5th year students will spend two years building up a deep understanding of the principles and applications of Chemistry. Examination papers are used daily in class, ensuring that our students leave with an excellent Leaving Cert Chemistry result, but, just as importantly, with a firm grasp of its science.
